METHOD DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION FOR THE ESTIMATION OF IBUPROFEN AND FAMOTIDINE BY RP HP-LC

ABSTRACT:
A validated, simple, precise, and accurate reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) method was developed for the concurrent estimation of Ibuprofen and Famotidine. The separation was achieved using an XBridge Amide column (250×4.6 mm, 5 µm particle size).
The optimized mobile phase consisted of an ammonium formate buffer mixed with acetonitrile in a ratio of 15:85 (v/v), with the pH adjusted to 3 using formic acid. A flow rate of 0.8 mL/min was maintained, the column temperature was held at 25°C, and analytes were detected at a wavelength of 265 nm.
